Across the state of Michigan, gas prices have fallen over the last month and are down eights cents to $3.55 a gallon. For diesel customers, prices are also down from a month ago – 10 cents to $4.35. These trends are in line with national ones, where gas prices are down 14 cents a gallon from last month.
In the Niles-Benton Harbor Area metropolitan statistical area, prices have risen slightly from where they were a month ago. They’re up a cent to $3.50 a gallon. The price, however, is still a dramatic decrease from the high of $5.20 a gallon that was seen last June.
