Nestled within Benton Harbor’s oldest building, the Morton House stands as a testament to the city’s enduring spirit and rich heritage. Established by Eleazar Morton and his son Henry Morton, early pioneers and co-founders of Benton Harbor, the museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the city’s remarkable journey from its humble beginnings to its vibrant present.

The celebration, scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., promises an afternoon filled with music, refreshments, and special activities suitable for all ages. Visitors are invited to join in commemorating this significant occasion with free admission to explore the museum’s historic exhibits and experience the charm of Benton Harbor’s past. In case of rain, festivities will be rescheduled to Sunday, June 30, ensuring that all can partake in honoring the Morton House Museum’s enduring legacy in the heart of Benton Harbor.
